Clorot, celorot, cerorot, or jelurut is a traditional cake made from rice flour with coconut milk, wrapped in janur or young coconut leaves in a cone shape. It is a traditional snack commonly found in Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei.

Ingredients
125 grams of rice flour
50 grams tapioca flour
400 ml thick coconut milk
175 grams brown sugar
2 pandan leaves, tie a knot
1/4 tsp salt
janur to taste

How to make

1. Prepare a saucepan, add coconut milk, brown sugar, pandan leaves, and salt. Bring to a boil while stirring. Turn off the heat. After the brown sugar solution cools, strain.

2. Mix rice flour and tapioca flour. Pour the brown sugar solution little by little while stirring well.

3. Make a conical container from janur.

4. Prepare a glass, stand some cone containers in it.

5. Pour the batter into the cone containers.

6. Heat the steamer.

7. Steam the clorot cake for about 20 minutes until cooked. Remove and serve.
